Become A Member - When you become a member of your local League of Women Voters of the Space Coast (LWVSC), you also automatically become a member of both the Florida and national LWV and will receive all three - local, state and national - LWV publications.

You will also be able to attend legislative seminars and state conventions sponsored by the LWV and locally be able to participate in our LWVSC monthly meetings which host guest speakers discussing topics pertinent to our community.

All of our members are encouraged to become involved in one of our committees, however, if you are working or going to school at the times of committee meetings or do not want to make that much of a commitment of your time, you can still be an active member through your membership support. You’ll make new friends, have fun, expand your horizons and have the opportunity to develop new skills.

To join as a Voting Member you must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age, however, you may also join as an Associate Member. All members must subscribe to our Mission Statement. Since 1973, membership is open to men as well.

By becoming a member of one of the nation’s most widely recognized, respected and effective citizen organizations, you will have many opportunities to learn more about important issues and bring about better government for your community, state and nation.

•     Household membership, $67.50.
•     Student membership, $22.50.
